My friend in Canada is happy with her picture of her pet dog Sharpe – look – it’s hanging in pride of place over the fire! I am so glad she has sent me this picture – it’s very rewarding to see your work appreciated – a happy time – and just in time for 2018 Christmas!

I am still considering whether this is finished or not, so it may change. It’s oil on canvas board, size 30 x 40 cm. Any advice from anyone?
I am also attempting a couple of lion cubs which is proving to be more difficult than I originally thought – but I will get there!! Await developments!!

It seems circumstances and obligations have got the better of me yet again and I haven’t had much time for painting.
I have finished off this rabbit though, only 18x24cm, oil on canvas board, and I hope to get back to some “serious” painting before too long.
If I don’t manage to chat again before New Year – do have a very happy Christmas and let’s hope for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2019.
This painting is a little larger than I usually do but still only 50 x 60 cm! There has been a few cloudy/rainy days of late which has inspired me to get back to my easel. Also, I have just had a relaxing break away in gorgeous Sorrento which has helped rejuvenate the batteries.
