Both painted in mixed media – acrylic under and oil over – on canvas.
I have had no time this year to do anything very much with my art practice, so getting around to making these two was a challenge and a joy! My intention is to create more time for art in my life – it is my inspiration and motivation – and oils are my medium of choice! With luck all hinderances will dissolve in the near future.

I so enjoyed painting the last two pictures that I thought I would carry on with the dog theme! These two speak for themselves! Both are mixed media on 30 x 25 cm canvasses.
I have been SO busy lately! Painting wise I have managed to finish a commission painting – more details on that another time – and this one, another Tiger!
This latest one is a new way of working for me – a trial. I have been using a lot of different materials and media, and finalised it with oil paints. It was an inspiring experience! I hope you like the end result! Painted on a 40 x 40 canvas.
